Ceramic Artist inspired by our love of nature.
A creative way to be still & mindful. As a mum i needed one thing for myself. A hobby turned onto a passion for clay
Originally from coastal Victoria , my love of clay started their as a child digging clay from the cliff walls of The Great Ocean Road. Primary School was my first introduction to Pottery. It wasn't until after the birth of my child Izzy , i discovered clay again in 2016. My designs are from functional ware, quirky mugs, to creative sculptures.
My creations are intuitively created in that moment, constantly changing & always have new items available & once of pieces. Everything made is hand built with love.
My inspiration comes from nature, where the Rainforest meet the Reef, living right near The Great Barrier Reef & looking at life through my child's eyes (Izzy) . Having lived in Far North Queensland for over 20 yrs & i never get tired of the inspiration & diversity of our area.
We offer clay play for kids once a month normally, Adult fun workshops , private clay play parties for hens nights, birthday parties or private gatherings, private tuition.
Thank you for taking the time to supporting & buying from a local ceramic artist who supports my family doing what i love to do.

Ceramics for me is about the senses. Holding each piece in my hand, sensing how it feels as our body connects to holding a piece of pottery. Knowing its such an ancient art & history that dates back hundreds of years.
Ceramics allows you to be in that moment, getting lost in creating a sculpture. With the feeling of clay in your hands allows you to ground yourself & not to mention playing in mud, which my inner child loves. You never know what can happen in the creative process & its an art you can continue to experiment with & never get tired of new ideas. Its not until you fire the kiln, wait anxiously to see if the kiln goddess has been kind & open the lid holding your breath. The magic is in the creative process, and each piece is special, different and one of a kind. I love experimenting, my creativity inspiration never stops.
